As Sales Director, you will be a crucial link in our organization. You will report directly to the CEO and be ultimately responsible for the entire commercial strategy and the realization of our growth objectives. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality and will help build the future of Keolis in Belgium. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Strategic Development: You will develop and implement an ambitious commercial strategy in line with Keolis's overall business objectives. This includes identifying new market opportunities, analyzing competition, and determining the right positioning. You possess a long-term vision and translate the overall Keolis vision into concrete commercial action plans. 

  • Sales and New Business: You will lead the commercial department and be hands-on involved in generating new business. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing high-level clients, negotiate contracts, and close successful deals. The focus here will be on:  

  • Leading and being responsible for large public tenders 

  • Optimizing the successfull delivery of small and larger tendersManaging more transactional sales activities (such as Keolis Event-shuttle and tourism activities), taking into account their integration into local operations. 

  • Team Management and Coaching: You will lead a team of sales professionals, motivating and coaching them to achieve their objectives and grow further. You will foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results-orientation. 

  • Market Analysis and Innovation: You will closely monitor market developments, identify trends, and anticipate future needs. You will proactively contribute to the development of innovative services and solutions that meet customer demand. 

  • Budget Management and Reporting: You will prepare commercial budgets, monitor performance, and report on it to management. You will analyze data to gain insights and provide steering information. 

  • Collaboration : You will work closely with other departments within Keolis, such as operations, communication, and finance, to ensure an integrated approach and create synergies.  

  • Network in mobility market:  you will be responsible for maintaining a relevant network within the Belgian mobility sector.

Pré-requis du poste

  • You have a proven track record (at least 15 years) in a senior commercial role, preferably within a B2G (Business-to-Government) environment. Experience with public tenders is an absolute must. 

  • You possess a strong and relevant network within the Belgian mobility sector that you can leverage. 

  • You are proactive, innovative, and have a clear vision for the future of mobility. 

  • You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and a results-oriented approach. 

  • You have demonstrable experience in leading, motivating, and coaching sales teams. 

  • You are analytically strong and capable of translating data into commercial insights. 

  • You are fluent in both Dutch and French

  • You have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
